Norfolk Great Knot

Monday
headed to Strumpshaw fen as tide was high with a two hour look around for swallowtail
butterfly's no luck but found a caterpillar.
So back to the car park had a sandwich then started out the car park
as l reversed a butterfly came in and landed for a second on the bonnet
a Swallowtail getting out the car we watched it go up and over to the train line the other side of the tree what luck we headed of to see the Great knot that was seen all day Gary bagnell had said then left us. Before we got to our car telling us to get there.
Great Knot, at the rugby club we walked the two miles to the crowd and got it pointed to us on the far bank
it flow twice as we watched but not far not getting closer so headed home.
