Beachy Head Belle tout wood
As we arrived the bird was calling and
l followed it with others from bush to bush.
then when it entered the wood it got harder to find
but stayed with the Goldcrest flock feeding..

ESSEX
l saw that a female Desert Wheatear was at Abberton Res
as l mist the Worthing Male by one Hour l went for this
lady its not as close as 6ft but still my first ever Desert
Wheatear so at 100 yards still looks good to me..

Portland Bill
on Wednesday 24th

l went to see the Daurian Shrike in the late afternoon
with a short-eared Owl out flying around the hill side
l watched the shrike go to roost just in front of me.

Reculver Kent

Went looking for my 300 bird for my year list
wow got it a LAPLAND BUNTING
with other birds on the beach Shore lark Wood lark
Brambling Chaffinch Goldfinch Meadow pipit
Chiffchaff Linnet Dunnock Robin.
A foggy dam day but so mutch to see moving in
through the fog.

Portland Bill on the 22 October
we stood in the field waiting for the Subalpine Warbler to
show for 4 hours then went to the bill l got to see the Barred Warbler
in fight only that got me to 299 for the year then we got close to a Kestrel
that was around and loads of Black Redstarts in a garden
before we stopped to eat then headed home as the fog came down.

Sunday Beachy Head
I Went for the Siberian stonechat at Birling Gap
wot a Bird then Sabine's Gull at Brighton feeding with Pigeons
on the front at the old burnt pier with joggers close moving it around
the area...

Scotland

Woke at 1.30am saturday to meet Matt
at 2.10 we all went for the Pallas's Warbler at Knott end
in a garden number 69 we got their in the dark and waited for
first light to go in at 7.30am we got it and then off to Scotland
arriving at 1 pm at Kilminning Castle then started looking for the Radde's
Warbler first no show so went 100 meters to the Eastern Olivaceous Warbler
we got it and back to the Radde's and got that. Then to the other for pic's
and back to the Radde's for a record shot to and on the way out stopped at the area
for shots of the red-Breasted Flycatcher that was feeding on the lower parts of the trees
then a 8 and a half hour drive home Great job MATT one LONG DRIVE.
and Neil for keeping you awake.
