Two Shrike's & I'm OUT
Went for the Lesser Grey Shrike
today in Suffolk & got a Red backed Shrike

Oare Marsh
Arrived just after 1pm
with people walking away for the east hide area
saying no show for 4 hours
so we walked and joined others
after a bit of time a gent started clicking away
and called us over yep the Spotted Crake arrive
on its run across the open area to the near reed bed
1 hour of it showing on & off before it ran off again
best views ever for me and a lifer for Jake.
then a honey buzzard & hen Harrier drifted high over.

Semipalmated Sandpiper
Got to Dungeness
to see the Semipalmated Sandpiper
for the afternoon a lovely little bird
after a hour or so it came closer
feeding all the time.
