Old Lodge Ashdown Forest

Now my fifth day at the lodge with a slim
chance l went to see if l could see the
Little Bunting as the day went on only
reed buntings again so l walked away
down another path on the way back
a shout from Roger. Got me back to the group
that had all seen it so l moved to the top of the
path to see the birds go into the first silver birch
and it showed for all from about 40ft away.

looking for the Little Bunting
only to see 30-40 bunting feeding
but nothing that looks close...

Serin at Gunner Park

Nice day at Gunner Park
as l arrived at 9.30am the 2 serin were
on show in the grass at the north east corner.
of the car park as tree surgeons started work they moved
nearer the beach by a small pool of water
then back to the north scrub at the car park
watching them both move and feed together.

windy cold with some sun at times.

A very nice morning with John
watching the Lesser Yellowlegs feeding sleeping
and stretching flying.
