selsey bill 7.20-11.30

As l arrived a pom was passing & saw 4 more plus arctic skua's
tern's were common, black, little, arctic,sandwich, & my first ROSEATE
grey & 2 YELLOW wagtails med gull's whimbrel,curlew,sanderling,
turnstone's,godwit, diver's black-throat,red-throat,great northern,
swallow's &swift's in off the sea.

spash point 7am - 1pm

Had a great sea watch at Splash Point
with Arctic,Great,Pomarine SKUA's, my first two Manx shearwater's,
avocet,teal,shoveler,mallard,whimbrel,little gull,fulmar,kittiwake,herring gull,
B H gull,G B B gull,TERN's little,black,common,arctic,sandwich,red & blackthroated divers.

pulbourgh brook

afternoon at the brook
but no sign of the wryneck for me
but little ringed plover at north brooks
with 2 male garganey and a close heron fishing was nice..

ivy lake, north wall,pulborough brooks,

started at ivy lake no sign of white-winged black tern
so went to north wall and saw curlew sandpiper
dunlin,godwit bar & black ,grey polver,
2 curlew sandpiper 1 in summer plumage.
then on the way to see the wryneck john spotted the tern at the water ski lake pit
westhampnett.so l called matt,


then late afternoon l went to the brook mist the wryneck showing but
saw wood sandpiper,2 egyptian geese,male garganey,whimbrel,
common sandpiper,little ringed plover,redshank,lapwing,whitethroat,
 green woodpecker

White -winged Tern

shot down to see the tern thanks Matt ,Paul ,Jake,

and a swift to made my sussex list to 190 now

spash point 7am -12am

weather windy yes my first pom skua then a few more nice and great skua,
Tern's Arctic,Little,Common,Sandwick, lots of waders godwit whimbrel sanderling,
grey polver,dunlin,avocet,
in off sea a hobby, house martin,swallow's

the one in front is a great skua . following the Ferrie
