the mill pond they arrived before staff and opened the gate letting the water out
and killing most of the fish sending them down the river not a great start for them..
as the day went on 6 ringed plover put their feet down for 2 seconds then flow on.
and a little gull arrived to eat some of the little fish that lay on the mud dying.
a water rail showed a few times with the mud all around the waders could arrive
for the next few weeks as work is done here.
