Beachy Old trapping area

Yesterday had a second go with the Red-Breasted Fly
not my best Idea as Rained on and off and a mist came in off the sea.

Beachy head

arrived at the old trapping area at 8.30am
and the red-breasted flycatcher was just starting to get seen
watched it for a few hours on and off. weather against me today
left as rain got heavy 11.30am.

Castle water

Went for the White-winged Black Tern
at Castle water today.
It arrived just before we got to the hide showing
off and on as it feed at the south west end.
saw 2 Little stint's water rail marsh harriers a knot
Ruff and lots more.

Beachy head

Started the day at the old trapping ground
with a female black cap then chiffchaff at
the hotel garden. on to the old hollow
seeing one of two Dartford warblers
6+ ring ouzel's buzzard kestrel and raven's
stonechats chiffchaff's.

Cissbury ring

just looking for the Ring Ouzel's
at Cissbury ring this morning was up to 3 at a time mostly in the dark centre of the tree
but in three hours in one spot saw them fly in and out and around the area.

Tide mills

Got to Tide Mill's
this afternoon at 2.30pm with a bit of sun
the Tawny Pipit showed well flow to me at one point
to about 30ft. feeding loads on the grass area.

Steppe Grey Shrike

Norfolk day
we went for the Steppe Grey Shrike at Barnham Norton
arrived at about 10.30 it was on show all the time coming down the fence
to about 30ft at one time just moving around feeding.
