Tuesday 4th
me and John went to Inverness
for the American Coot in the morning then
on to Loch Garten RSPB for Crested Tit.
With Red Grouse on the way.
Wednesday 5th
with no sun only Rain and snow
it got harder to do any birding in the Cairngorm
Mountains Driving rain low down and Snow up the top
we stopped at one point and Found a Mountain Hare
so Walked up to get a photo in driving rain John got a shot off
I got to see it run over the top and out of sight.
the Weather was not with us for any of the day.
Thursday 6th
first thing Back to Inverness Airport
and a last look at the American Coot
that was out at the white stone's and close feeding
at 8.15 but the light was not out the sun not up in the sky
yet.
great trip first day was the best light and photo's
a nice B&B in Grantown-on-Spey Tulach Ard.
