Brooklands & Widewater

Only got to do the morning
a quick drive to Brooklands
then 15 min at Widewater as got home for lunch.
then out with Maggie in afternoon.
2 little gulls at brooklands came close today.
then 2 Red-breasted merganser feeding at widewater.
to end on nice morning out.

Southwick to Littlehampton

Starting off heading Hove direction
I went to Southwick looking for the Glaucous Gull
an got straight on it flying over my head at one point.
2 hours later I moved on to Brooklands to see the
2 Little Gull's that showed well in the sun today
after another 2 hours I again headed off to Littlehampton
for the Kumlien's Gull and another Glaucous Gull.
this birds showed so well as they liked the bread that they got.
on the way home stopped to see the Scaup at Greatham bridge
that was still there.

up early and a slow walk round Tilgate lake

Littlehampton east beach

This afternoon at east side of Littlehampton

with Harry Dan Mike and George
we saw the Kumlien's Gull 6+ little Gulls
Med Gull Red-breasted merganser Common Gull
weather was Rain on and off with sun shine.

Durham Day

At Shincliffe Village

We Went to see the Myrtle Warbler
that was found on Garden bird watch weekend
in January showed well until
it had a fight with a robin.
after waiting 20 mins more. We left
Me John an Harry.
We stopped at Saltholme RSPB
and looked for the Green-winged Teal
no joy but Harry found a Iceland Gull in Gull Roost.
Superb day and very long day....
