CHURCH Norton
I woke at 4.50am to go for the Skua
Arrived at 6.10 at Church Norton parked
then a steady walk up and down the beach
for 3 hour's before it showed then watched
the Long-tailed Skua chase the tern's mostly
Sandwich Tern's 5 plus time's and getting
food from them each time.
as it rested on the beach it was eating sea weed
and fly's with tide coming in it got close to us
all.

Old Lodge afternoon walk

Cornwall sea watching
On Monday
we had a slow drive down to Cornwall
to sea watch Tuesday as winds where right
At Porthgwarra about 7.30am we started l got to see 4 Sooty
shearwaters 2 Cory shearwater 5 Great shearwater
Hundred's of Manx shearwater and a Hooded crow
on the way out Heading home at around 7pm got home at
3.15am Wednesday morning three new birds for me
views were at about half a mile to a mile out. John & George
got three new birds to.

Black-Winged Stilt Chicks
Went to the Ferry Pool
To see the Stilt's all five on show most of the time
the chick that go's off is Leggy the first chick that
Colin & Mich named it likes to go off on its own
the mum came down to the road end calling only
flow as a large lorry passed it Dad was with the two
younger chicks all flying so well now.

Damselflie & Dragonflie's in Kent
Headed to Kent
Looking for a few Damselfly's I've not seen yet
first a Small Red-eyed Damselfly was at the
same place as the Willow Emerald Damselfly
then moved on to look for Southern Emerald
Damselfly got one only, But loads of Ruddy Darter's
in the area....
