I got a Text from Jake Everett
that a Red-Necked Phalarope was found at the Ferry pool.
So got in the car and headed for it. When I was their speaking
to Richard and John King it was John how found it looking at the Avocets
as they had gone to see the Black winged stilt that was still at the back of the pool as l arrived.
The Red-Necked Phalarope was getting pushed around by a black headed Gull and a Avocet at times
only it was being pushed away not closer.
Great to see

Suffolk Day out
We went for the Broad-billed Sandpiper
at Tinker's Marshes Suffolk leaving at 9.30am
as Harry Dan & mike got to Three bridges station.
We arrived at 1pm with good news from people walking back to cars
its still showing well scope views where best a heat haze at times
good to see the difference as Dunlin sanderling with it and 3 Curlew sandpipers
on another pool nearby. After a bit of time watching we then moved on
to Minsmere RSPB to see the Red-necked Phalarope witch we did from North hide
a small dot feeding as phalaropes do going round & round heat haze made it hard
to get good detail's on this bird at a great distance.
