Dungeness

As l saw Matt Eade was heading to Dungeness
l gave him a call then we meet up at the ARC pit.

Red-necked Phalarope was their distant and Little stint
then went to see the Melodious Warbler mist the wryneck
then to Rye for Curlew Sandpiper.
A nice Afternoon birding...

Thursday morning at Seaford Head

A short walk
around the Dung heep down to Hope gap
5 yellow wags 8 Wheatears 1 Whinchat
a few Whitethroats and Blackcaps
not a lot around this morning
but nice to get out for a walk with great Veiws
of Birling gap..

Ashdown Old Lodge

I went to Old lodge looking for birds of prey
first seeing 4 Hobby's go through then a Common Buzzard
up a Sparrow Hawk come through and a Kestrel over head
other bird where 2 Ravens 16 Stonechat Redstart's tree Pipit
moved on to the Black pool for some macro shots.

Southwater area Hornet

When l was looking for Dragonfly's
I watched this Hornet going up and down the path looking
for food then it got hold of a Median Wasp the battle was one sided.

A early Patch walk with Matt Eade
Around Seaford Head starting with 2 Snipe 8 Wheatears at dung heap
then 8 Yellow wags 2 Sparrow hawks loads of Whitethroats lesser Whitethroats
Reed Warblers Willow Warblers Sand &House Martins Swallows a Swift
Common Buzzard Stonechat and Juv and a lovely Humming-Bird Hawkmoth.
