Purple Sandpiper day

Started at Prince's Park Eastbourne
at 9am no sign of Slav grebe so moved on
to Newhaven Walking East Pier 6 Purple Sandpipers
on the top so stayed to get a few pic's
windy day not a lot around flock of green finches on
the beach linnet &  meadow pipit around.

with a walk when it stopped we saw
2 Goosander 6 Egyptian geese Greylag
and Canada geese Shoveler Tufted duck
Mallard Pochard  Green Woodpecker
Redwing Wren Chaffinch Robin Coot
Moorhen blue tit.

Warnham res & Coldwaltham

Waiting at Warnham

For the Mealy it showed at around 11.30 am today
8+ lesser Redpolls feeding on and off Siskin Robin
 Dunnock Blackbird Reed Bunting G S Woodpecker
Wren Greenfinch Goldfinch Chaffinch Nuthatch
Blue tit Great tit Coal tit Long-tailed tit Pheasant
Magpie Moorhen all in the woodpecker hide.
Headed to Coldwaltham for the afternoon
saw the GG shrike at distance 2 Marsh Harriers
a Kestrel and a Red kite 3 Stonechat Redwing
& Fieldfare work going on at the treatment works
Wellies for the area.

Hove & Shoreham Fort

Tried to do more at Hove with the
Grey Phalarope today more sun and dry
got to here the Glaucous Gull was still at the
Fort at Shoreham so had a quick look
a new bird for my Sussex bird list.
