Widewater & Gorring
Started the day
watching the Female Goosander at widewater
a quick sea water I got to see a Eider drifting passed
then west to Worthing Gorring area
we saw Sanderling Dunlin ringed Plover
2 Bar-tailed Godwit on the beach.

Rye
Afternoon at Rye
I got to see the long staying Long-tailed Duck.
A bird of prey got all the birds up at the far end
of rye it was heading to the golf course and wind turbines.
not a great view could be the Black Kite a Possibility I'm
thinking.

Waltham brooks then Seaford
Started the day
going to Waltham Brooks
to see the Great grey Shrike
after a hour sitting in the car with the hammering rain
coming through the window I got to see twice
the GG shrike moving around from bush to bush
The news came out that seaford sea watch (Bob Self) was having a good day.
So off l went to meet up with Matt in
2 hours we saw 230 little Gull a Bonxie a Arctic Skua
Brent geese scoter.
