Thorney Island
Started the day
at Thorney Island with a long walk
to pilsey Island res looking through
all the plovers loads of juv Ringed plover
on the beach as we looking in to the sun for 3 hours
then news the semipalmated was at hayling at
sandy point again
so headed their for another look in better weather.
Late Darter
I think its a Yellow Fieldcap
duck on the way to Pilsey Island

Kent Day
Headed to Reculver
then Stodmarsh
At Reculver saw 4 wheatears loads of Brent geese
Meadow pipits 2 Swallows 10 bearded tits.
Then saw 3 Marsh harriers 2 common Buzzards

Hayling Island
At Hayling island
Today l went to see the Semipalmated Plover
second go and l heared it flow after a min on show
so glad it was found at the beach at groin 25
As the rain hammered
down l watched and got some record shots
as it stayed at the back and keeped its head down.

Red-Flanked Bluetail
We headed to Norfolk
in the hope of a Red-Flanked Bluetail
but the start was at Cley next the sea
and mist the great grey shrike then a
walk at Salthouse and saw a Snow bunting
on the beach news came out that the
Wells-next the sea had a Great grey shrike
and a Siberian Stonechat we walked to the area
and after a little wait saw the shrike at a good distance
the stone chat was a bit nearer.
then new came out that a Red-Flank Bluetail
was still at Sizewell as l arrived it had been seen
20 mins earlier waited then it Rained 10 mins
after it stopped raining the Red-Flanked Bluetail
showed and was calling..

Parrot Crossbill's
Essex
Went to see the 4 Parrot Crossbill at Shoeburyness
parked in mess road and walked 100ft to see 20 people
watching and taking photo's so went to the beach side
watching them feed and call fly off once the come back
to feed again.

Portland Bill
A early start
heading to Portland Bill at 6am
arriving around 9am to see the Short-toed
Lark on the path opposite bill Ops
watched for half a hour then went looking for the
Thrush nightingale after it was released it shot in a
bush and not seen since. windy area walked the fields
and then home large group of linnets in the fields
fieldfare & redwing coming in of the sea.
