Seaford & the Head then Suffolk

Started the day
dropping Friends off at Gatwick and saw a Ring-necked Parakeet
fly towards south terminal.
on a short sea watch at Splash point a Hobby came in off the sea.
then a look around the head wheatear whitethroat
finche's Raven. Then saw Gary Tweeted his off to
the Eastern Subalpine Warbler
so l called and shot home to go with him nice job Gary
we got to the bird after 3 PM and watched it for a
hour or more what a bird.

Ivy Lake

At ivy lake
watched 12+ swifts with house & sand martins
but its good to see the great crested grebe's dancing
a early sea watch got Little & Sandwich Terns.
Had a look for the Bonelli's warbler but no joy.

SESLEY AT THE END

Started with a sea watch at splash seaford
then of to the long-eared Owl.
and back again for the warbler

Pulbourgh brooks

A morning visit
to see the Nightingales around a dozen there
with Whitethroat & lesser whitethroat yellow wagtail
Swift heard a Cuckoo Treecreeper Sedge warbler

Harry's Bush

Seaford Head

Matt Eade called me this morning and l headed to seaford
as he found a Pied Flycatcher a nice Male
as l arrived it flow off with no photo but
it came back so l stayed for 4 hours watching it feed all the
time my first for Sussex l have mist loads.
on the way home l went to Arlington res
a common sandpiper is there and a dozen swallows.

Arundel yesterday and beachy today

headed back to the Corncrake
spotted along the side today
very windy it came out to feed
on the edges then went to Belle tout
saw the owl firecrest goldcrest
willow warbler no joy with the Pied flycatcher.
The day earlier
l got to see the Glossy Ibis & a pair of
Mandarin up close near Swanbourne lake.

Corncrake

Corncrake
at shooters bottom
was at Arundel then headed to Beachy head at around 3.50pm
as the Corncrake was out showing.got their and headed to the group
watching the area that it was seen as l got the Camera ready it came
out 20ft to 30ft in front of su all feeding along the edge of the path
eating some sussex worms.
