Warnham
After 1 hour at Ashdown forest with some rain around
and no sign of the Great grey shrike we headed to Warnham
light was not the best but lots of birds around all the time.

Arrived at 9.30am at Hanson ARC hide
with the Long-Tailed Duck on view,Goldeneye,
Black-necked grebe,Great crested grebe,Turfed Duck,
Pochard,Teal,Wigeon,Shoveler,Mallard,Gadwall,Pintail,
Shelduck,Water rail,Moorehen,coot,Little Egret,Great White Egret,
Marsh Harrier,.
At Denge marsh hide we saw
another Great White Egret and the Glossy Ibis,Snipe,Bittern,Grey heron,
a very nice day out.

We headed to West Dean
first thing and got to see a Hawfinch good views that gets my year list
in sussex to 222 other birds around were Bullfinch,Common Gull,
Chaffinch,Greenfinch,Meadow pipit,Wren,Grey wagtail,
Common Buzzard,.Then went to Burpham for RL Buzzard
but no sign today for us we saw Kestrel,Common Buzzard,
Ringtail Hen Harrier,distant Red Kite,Grey Partridge,Skylark,
House Sparrow,Dunnock,Goldfinch,
Common Gull

Started the day at Eastbourne
Then Arlington res then Waltham brooks
missed the Bean geese but nice to look around the site
with Pochard,Coot,Mute Swan,Mallard,Teal, Cetti's warbler,
Meadow pipit,Common Gull,BH Gull,Herring Gull,
Canada Geese,Starling,Carrion Crow,Magpie,Raven,Rook,
Grey Heron,Snipe.
Then headed to Arlington res with lots of gulls and water level low
most bird at long distance.BH Gull,Common Gull,LBB Gull,GBB Gull,
Herring Gull,Cormorant,Pied wagtail,Goldfinch,Long-tailed tit,Blue tit,
Great tit,Meadow pipit,Teal,
At Waltham brooks watched two Short-eared Owls for Half an hour
saw a Kestrel.
