Headed to mill hill arrived at 8.30 it was slow to start.
then as it warmed up the butterfies arrived.red admiral,
gatekeeper,meadow brown,small white,large white,
essex skipper,dingy skipper,brimstone,small copper,
brown argus,common blue,chalkhill blue,adonis blue,
painted lady,peacock,wall,marbled white,small heath,
18 in total my best in one day..

l got to mill hill at shoreham by 8am looking for butterflies
and was Gatekeeper,Large white,Small white,Meadow brown,
Small copper,Common blue, Chalkhill blue, Brown agrus,
Peacock, Essex skipper,Red admiral,Comma,Speckled wood,

WALL, 14 butterfies today..

pagham north wall

l had two trips to the north wall to day one 8am-9am and then at 8pm-9pm
l will try again tomorrow l mist the cattle egret by 30 mins but saw
28 little egret's go to roost in the driving rain this evening.
and 6 little egret's in the morning.
there was 100+ sand martins over the north wall and swifts 30+
as the light was going.

Beachy Head & southwater

yesterday me and john headed to beachyhead for the morning
and we saw more chalkhill blue's, common blue, gatekeeper's,
three type's of skipper small,large,essex, lots of beetle's

Then today l had an hour at southwater woods.
a nice comma and red admiral.

Beachy Head

l headed to Beachyhead for the new butterflies that are out now.
And the Chalkhill blue was the first as l started my walk to
Horseshoe plantation.then Brown Argus,Small,Large,Essex Skippers,
Mabled white,Large white,Small white,Dark green fritillary,
Meadow brown,Small heath,Peacock,Common blue,

Back to cissbury ring

l went back to cissbury ring today
it worked out just right as l got my first
Brown Argus and then Dark Green Fritillary paired up
an skipper paired up heard the Quail again today.
