then off to castle water on the way saw bearded tit .
on the way to the hide we was 50+ bewick swan,s flight over.

then at the hide a bittern put on a nice show in front of the hide

waxwing's

At the TA centre in Crawley town 20 to 30 waxwing near applefield as l parked.
A feildfare was making them move calling and  then flow on the same tree so only
see for a few minute's 12 o/clock today thats 211 birds in sussex this year..

fishbourne creek

At fishbourne to day in the mist and rain distance was the problem some of the time to mutch mist
ivy lake was no good.coot,shoveler,tufted,pochard,gadwall, mute swan,L blk bk gull, com gull, blk headed gull.
then moved to fishbourne creek a yellowhammer was first then meadow pipit,goldcrest,redshank,grey plover,dunlin feeding all around walked the edge 5 com snipe flow, rock pipit,200+brent geese, 200+ wigeon Grt blk bk gulls in the middle little egret, reed buntings,a water rail in the stream at fishbourne meadow coot ,and moorehen, traveling l see kestrel,com buzzard.

pett level

Arrived a Pett Level at 12 o/clock went on the sea wall and other birders all had scopes on the red-breasted goose so said hi to J k then went to the river to get a closer look. I thing l need steps next to see over the reed's watch it eating for an hour with white-fronted, greylag, and barnacle geese then was cold so back to car and home.Other birds were curlew,mute swan,lapwing,wigeon,

Tilgate snow is melting

The dog walk around the park to day produced 5 farrow deer 1 roe and a fox in the snow.
birds in the park were 3 group's of siskin a flock of 40+ and two smaller one with goldfinch's in
with them over 80+ today.A grey heron,coot, moorehen,mallard,common and blackheaded gull's, 3 wren, 2 goldcrest,
song thrush,robin's,blackbird's,magpie,chaffinch,greenfinch,house sparrow's, starling, and a pied wagtail.

Hi at Tilgate today 40+ siskin's then at the lake a female sparrowhawk, 2 grey heron's, 6 common gull,80+ black headed gull's,greenfinch,chaffinch,a small flock of long-tailed,blue,coal,tit and a goldcrest,a jay,great tit
not mutch water around for the duck's some mallard,moorehen with the gull's on way home.and more siskin 20+ flow over and 2 greater spottedwood pecker and a nuthatch.

at -4 today at the sawage work's in coldwaltham 2 chiffchaff's ,meadow pipit ,grey-pied wagtail,goldcrest,chaffinch,common buzzard.

At burpham 8 bewick swan's on the other side of the railway lines.

hi went to london wednesday with my son an from the train we saw 2 ring-necked parrots, crows, magpies,wood pigeons, ben,s first parrots.
