To get to see the Smew at burrowes pit
watched two fly in from makepeace hide
and saw a great white egret at ARC hide.
lots of birds pairing up now Goldeneye,
Gadwall,shoveler,saw chiffchaff, tree sparrow,

Gosport Hampshire
a quick visit to see the ring-billed gull
then to west dean but no joy with the Hawfinches
left at 2.10 and Russ saw then at 2.20 will try again.
lots more around crossbills,chaffinch,goldfinch,siskin,
robin,wren,redwing,fieldfare,buzzard,red kite,kestrel,
red-legged partridge,.

had a afternoon trip to the old lodge
meet  garry bagnell at gill's gap and
we then headed to the old lodge
and  saw 2 woodlark, 7 crossbill,
coal tit,lesser redpoll, skylark, on
the way home popped in to the west end
of weirwood and saw a Barn Owl in front of the hide
then home.
